God is healing my mind and heart. When I first began attending Catch The Fire I was very traumatised and weary. I was homeless and so were my kids.
Since coming, God has gently and lovingly drawn me close to Him. Through his magnified presence in the meetings, and through the loving people who took the time to get to know me.
One special woman of God obeyed Him and gave me a love offering of cash every week and we would meet and talk and walk, she would give me a card with encouraging scripture or a blessing.
She introduced me to her friend who offered some free counselling hours. This was extremely helpful. An older couple took an interest in me and prayed for me regularly. Someone payed for me to attend a foundational healing weekend run by Catch the Fire, Jesus with flesh on.
I have a lovely state house after waiting on a housing list for 18 months. Thank God. The kids and I are thriving and happy.
I spent 4 months prior to coming to Catch The Fire in a high security psychiatric ward due to a mental breakdown. I was placed on very strong medication and told I would need to take then for the rest of my life. These medications had serious life threatening side effects. I am not taking them now, I am well and happy and coping with life.
Recently the organisation where I have been working as a volunteer for the past year has given me a paid position. I work with Auckland’s homeless and I absolutely love it!!!!!
God is truly in love with all of us, and is in the business of healing and turning lives around, for the glory of His Kingdom.
